Search and Rescue

Bayside Search and Rescue aims to meet the needs of the poor and needy particulary in third world countries.  By mobilising the church at a local level, Bayside Search and Rescue has an oversees project focus. 

The key projects that Bayside Search and Rescue is involved includes World Vision's 40 Hour Famine, providing gift boxes for underpriviledged children through Operation Christmas Child as well as, the 
Church is committed to providing a Bayside Forever Home for 10 previously abandoned children in South Africa (many with HIV/Aids), humanitarian aid in Mozambique and support for Zambia's Northrise University.

There is also a commitment to educating congregational members regarding Fairtrade principles and reducing world poverty through the Micah Challenge.
