Bayside Church recently raised $11,500 to stop women and children being trafficked in Thailand.
Following a recent visit by multi-awarded journalist David Batstone, who was responsible for spearheading the Not For Sale campaign, Bayside Church is committed to providing financial support to World Vision’s Assistance, Support and Protection for Migrant and Trafficked Women & Children program.

There are up to 225,000 women and children in southeast Asia who are trafficked annually for sexual and labour exploitation (DFAT, June 2003). The goal of the program is to reduce the number of women and children trafficked for sex work or other forms of exploitative labour in Thailand.

With modern-day slavery being the most prosperous criminal activity in the world today, more than the drug trade, Bayside Church is determined to make a difference.
