The Careline Team is a Christian helpline, supported and advertised by the Australian Christian Channel, 89.9 Light FM and Ultra FM in Tasmania.
We provide a listening ear and prayer support for callers from all over Australia, from Aboriginal communities in the Pilbara to the urban landscapes of all capital cities in Australia. In 2006 The Careline Team facilitated more than 4,500 calls and more than 100 people rededicated or received salvation.
Bayside Church is the principle supporting church of The Careline Team. Opportunities exist for other churches to support by way of volunteering and host call centres in their church.
The Careline Team offers a seven week training course equipping volunteers in all aspects of Careline work (including connecting people to their local church, helping the callers to focus on God, praying for callers over the phone).
